Our worship gathering this Sunday will be a BBQ. It's the long weekend and the weekend after Pentecost so It is a perfect time of to share a meal together.
We will be providing the burger and hot dogs. Please consider contributing a salad or a dessert, or whatever needs to be cleaned out of the fridge/cupboard.
Here is a general idea of how things will flow.
6:45-7: communion and singing
Here were the announcements from last week. You can find the bulletin here.
We have a full day this coming Sunday. At 3pm the kids will be leading us in the telling of the Christmas story with carols interspersed. Whether you know someone performing or not you are invited and encouraged to come and enjoy the presentation. It's a great time of community building. Christmas creation will follow where there will crafts to make and cookies to be eaten!.
If you have someone in the performance don't forget about the practice on Saturday at 3pm and the dress rehearsal at 2pm on Sunday immediately before the presentation.
So you don't have to run home to get supper before the connection worship gathering we are going to order pizza (Dominos). The cost will be $2/person or $4/family. Please let me know if you plan on coming and if you have any specific dietary needs. (firstname.lastname@example.org)
After the service we will eat any of the remaining cookies and drink some coffee or tea.
